Late Summer & Fall Grafted Trees should be ready the following Spring. Deadline is October 01
A Pre-Order Grafting Request is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock. We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow. Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

This mango was chance seedling, thought to be from 'Kent', selected by Walter Zill of Boynton Beach, FL.
The fruit are medium-to-large in size (typically over a pound), round in shape like Kent, developing a gorgeous red skin color with yellow-green background at maturity. The flesh is firm, fiberless, and yellow. The flavor is in the classic-acidic group, reminiscent of Kent but superior, with more complexity and defined acidic component. It is very similar in this regard to Zill-80. The seed is monoembryonic. Providence is a mid-late season mango ripening from July to August.
The trees are also less vigorous and more compact than Kent, with a slightly more spreading habit and open canopy. Unfortunately they appear to be more average producers. Of greater concern to us is Providence?s severe susceptibility to the new bacterial spot and rot diseases due to its Kent genes.
We have several trees, and after losing most of the fruit to rot for several years, we have begun top-working them into other varieties.
Flavor: Classic-acidic
