Late Summer & Fall Grafted Trees should be ready the following Spring. Deadline is October 01
A Pre-Order Grafting Request is an order for us to produce the specific tree that we don't currently have available in stock. We must graft the tree and then it must go through a multi-month process to heal and grow. Only Once the small tree has completed two flushes of growth since it was grafted do we consider it ready to leave our nursery.

Fernandin is from Goa state, India, which was once a Portuguese colony, and thought to be the origin for this mango’s name. It may sometimes go under the name “Fernandina” or “Fernandez”. It is reportedly resistant to fruit fly in its native range.
It is a small red and yellow colored fruit. The flesh is yellow, fiberless, and aromatic with an Indian-Alphonso group flavor, similar Alphonso, Kesar and Mesk. The seed is small and monoembryonic.
Fernandin was briefly promoted by Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s Mango Festival as a Curator’s Choice mango in the 2010s. Few trees made it into the nursery trade however.
We top-worked part of a stump into Fernandin around 2020 and the tree fruited in 2023. It appears to be a mid or late season mango in south Florida.
